New Tesla Truck Spotted with Bed Cover Is it Unique

In the future, it appears that a new-looking Tesla Cybertruck prototype will present an interesting feature. The new model being built at the automaker’s Fremont site appears to have a bed cover, which is not seen in prior leaked prototypes.

Recently-spotted models, a new prototype for Tesla Cybertruck appears to have a bed cover which is not present.

Presently, supply chain issues have been impacting numerous industries around the world. Automotive business is one of them.

So far, we know that Tesla CEO Elon Musk said that he will be releasing an update for the Cybertruck in line with its roadmap. However, he clarified that the launch of this model will be postponed to 2023 because of unforeseen problems.

Over the last few months, lots of people spotted different Cybertruck prototypes at both California and Texas plants. The electric pickup truck appears to have a large windshield wiper back when it was seen in December.

In the last weeks also revealed that there was a new Cybertruck at Gigafactory Texas. As per screenshots, the truck seems to be doorless and has detachable wheel covers.

In early February, another clip surfaced online regarding the Cybertruck (source Electrek). The drone picked up some details for this mini truck in a close encounter at Fremont. The same drone pilot saw the prototype but there’s another interesting feature to notice about this.

What captured the interest of the public is its bed cover. They considered it as a rare sighting since this is the only prototype that they have seen to have this feature. In the image, the back part has a lot of dirt build-ups on the cover.

Judging from the picture, this Cybertruck prototype is larger than the Model S beside it. Still, the size of the truck might not be correct since it appears to be longer at a particular angle.

Despite reports of Tesla potentially offering a smaller version of the Cybertruck, or making the electric pickup truck a bit smaller in general, it doesn’t appear to be “downsized.” As you can see, when parked next to the brand’s Model S, the Cybertruck’s huge size seems obvious.

Why People dislike Cybertruck Prototype’s Design

According to Slash Gear, some people come into view unimpressed over Tesla’s Prototype Cybertruck. Mostly, they saw that it has no door handles which tells a lot about it.

In order to open its door, the user should tap their keycard on one of the vehicle’s sensors. They could also use their phone to do that, according to the subtitles. While it’s interesting to see, there might be a problem if something breaks.

Aside from that, the prototype’s wiper and windshield received a lot of criticism from the viewers. Some users said that they did not want that to be Tesla’s final product.

Even Musk has something to say about the wiper’s design, according to his tweet. Moreover, the size of the truck also appeared to be an issue. Other people called the cybertruck a refrigerator because of its size.
